Hello there and welcome back to Thrivency’s weekly newsletter! 👋🏽

I’m ecstatic to be bringing you a new episode of SACRED SPACES, our original video series that spotlights wellness businesses around the country. It’s been some time since we published our last episode featuring the owner of Prevailing Pilates, the first Black-owned Pilates studio in North Carolina.

The focus of today’s new interview is an ambitious and intentional, yet completely bubbly entrepreneur taking over downtown Concord, NC. I think you’ll love this exclusive Q&A with Valeri Monzon as she shares the process behind opening her Dominican-inspired organic cafe and juice shop, Era Wellness Bar.

Let’s dive in ⤵️

Q&A with Valeri Monzon

I didn't know anything about opening it, but it's connecting both of my passions. Both of the things that I have a lot of experience in and things that I love. And I think they go together. You’re not just beautiful outside, you have to make sure you take care of yourself from within.

If this resonated with you, here are all the ways you can support Valeri and Era Wellness Bar:

  • Go visit them in downtown Concord, NC at 11 Union St S, Suite 101. Check out their website for their hours

  • Looking for a beauty boost? Check out Valeri’s other business Maleri Waxing Studio, also located in downtown Concord
