🥬 Unearthing the Cyclospora Outbreak

7,000+ cases. 30+ states. And now, the first attributed death.

The cyclospora outbreak has dominated the news cycle for several weeks now, centered around a key grocery store staple that many of us used to drop into our carts without a second thought. While health officials originally linked the gastrointestinal symptoms to contaminated lettuce from produce supplier, Taylor Farms, the legitimacy of this investigation is being called in to question.

The ongoing public health concern is still very real and growing by the day, but the current administration’s federal health investigators are under fire. 📱 AI Wellness Influencers

Influencers selling health supplements on our timelines is nothing new. But the volume has skyrocketed and the results that they’re claiming (a smaller waist, clearer skin, defined muscles) are starting to look more real. This is all due to artificial intelligence.

New title just dropped! 🚨

As women in STEM, SPAM and other professional specialties find community online, women in wellness have been feeling left out. No more worries, because Crystal Quintero just coined the term women in WISH (wellness, inclusion, somatics and healing). It’s cute and effective. A term created to unify and specifically highlight the women underrepresented within this rapidly growing profession.
